Responsibilities:

  • Determine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications
    and programming; review objectives with clients and evaluate current systems.
  • Develop database solutions by designing proposed systems; define database physical
    structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
  • Install and maintain database systems.
  • Plan and deliver the data integration process.
  • Validate data integration by developing and executing test plans and scenarios
    including data design, tool design, data extract/transform, networks, and hardware.
  • Mentor and train less experienced team members; drive technical innovation across the team.

Required skills:

  • Demonstrated understanding of data warehousing, database architecture, ETL processes.
  • Experience with data integration and management.
  • Experience with dimensional modeling, star schema and snow flake.
  • Proficiency in high volume OLTP databases and large data warehouse environments.
  • Experience with designing logical and physical data models.
  • Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices.
  • Proven experience with MS SQL Server, T-SQL and SSIS.
