Sofia, May 22, 2014 - On May 21, was held the first edition of the free conference for IT specialists - Be IT in Elieff Center for Education and Culture.
The event attracted nearly 250 people, eager for development in the field of information technology. Twelve top experts from leading companies on the Bulgarian market, including SmartIT, Infragistic, Adastra, Proxiad, Melon, SAP, HP, Komfo, Comverse, UniCredit Bulbank, Obecto, took part in Be IT, to share their experience with the participants. The pilot edition of the conference was more than successful.
Each of the topics discussed gathered a significant number of professionals interested in new technologies. The lobby of the American University was narrow to gather all the young people who wanted to get acquainted with representatives from the participating companies and talk with them about career opportunities. Some of the participants have already received job offers.
The conference Be IT is held in the form of a workshop and is aimed at young people with special interests in the field of information technology. The visitors to the first edition had the opportunity to visit 12 workshops in three of the latest trends in IT at the moment - Web, Mobile and Database. In each module there were discussions concerning actual problems from practice for which visitors could offer their solutions and ideas.
At the end of the conference was held a raffle. Three winners won remote control quadrocopter, voucher for hosting services worth 200 BGN from the sponsor ICN.Bg, and the organizer - JobTiger awarded the largest prize - Lenovo IdeaTab S5000 with a beautiful and simple design.
The good spirit and enthusiasm could be seen throughout the day. The visitors were able to enjoy the sweet delights of Nestle or receive “wings for every taste” from Red Bull.
