“Top ICT Employer” - an initiative of the technology publisher

The award ceremony of the annual competition was held on October 15, 2014 at Sofia Airport Center. The event was preceded by a
round table discussion on “Key challenges and processes to improve the motivation in the IT sector”.
Sirma Business Consulting won the first place also during the edition of “Top ICT Employer” in 2012. The services of the company cover projects such as implementation of core banking systems, retail systems, risk management, implementation of different types of banking products and satellite consultancy services.
The second and third prize winners are Intelligent Systems Bulgaria – a company that implements the ERP and CRM decisions Microsoft Dynamics in Bulgaria - and Scale Focus - a company that provides innovative technology services and develops software solutions. Both companies gained very high scores in the final standings and took the second and third place in the ranking.
Sirma Business Consulting is also winner in the category “System Integration” in 2014, as they were winners in the same category and 2 years ago.
Another company awarded the first prize in the category “Software Development” in 2012, earned the first place in the same category also in 2014 – this is SEEBURGER Informatik. The Bulgarian division of the company is responsible for the centers for support and software development of the German software company SEEBURGER AG - a global provider of B2B integration software.
Scale Focus is the first prize winner in the category “IT services” of this year's edition of the survey.
Winner in the category “Outsourcing of IT services” is Questers Bulgaria. The company specializes in IT outsourcing and consulting services.
In sector “Telecommunications and sales of communication equipment” first place winner is the provider of communication technologies and services Ericsson Telecommunications Bulgaria, which is the winner in this category for third consecutive year. For the first year, there was a special prize in the sector “Small companies up to 50 employees”, which was won by the IT services company Accedia.
The ranking is prepared on the basis of the results of the
survey “TOP ICT employer”, which was organized for third consecutive year on the methodology of the specialized in HR audit company Audit Advice Associates (AAA). The survey was conducted among 31 Bulgarian and international companies in the Telecommunications, IT and Outsourcing sectors operating on the Bulgarian market. It explores the factors and the degree of engagement and satisfaction of employees in the field of Information and Communication technologies. The number of employees fulfilled the employee engagement questionnaire was 2273.
The requirement for participation in the ranking is the participating companies to have at least 50 permanent employees at the beginning of the survey and the corresponding number of employees fulfilled the engagement questionnaire, depending on the total number employed in the organization. For leading ICT employers are announced the best ranked companies from all sectors, separately are announced the winners in the different categories. For the first time this year in the ranking was included a category for small businesses with up to 50 employees.
The project is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham), Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies (BAIT), Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM) and the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG).
General partner of the initiative is Tishman International Companies - the company that develops and manages the business complex Sofia Airport Center (SAC). Partners of the project are Experian, Luxoft, Sirma Business Consulting, SBTech and AAA.
