Junior Buyer

For one of our clients - one of the top three companies in the global market for access and security solutions, we are looking for an Junior Buyer.

Job Description:

Source and purchase materials and negotiate prices as needed;
Be responsible for the data quality and accuracy in the procurement information system (ERP);
Assist the Purchasing Manager in implementing purchasing strategy based on facts and figures;
Monitor shipment from supply base to warehouse to ensure that customers’ requirements are met;
Update daily delivery records, vendors information and re-schedule delivery when there are changes;
Support in vendor selection, development & management;
Maintain good relationship with existing suppliers; select suppliers and negotiate for the best price.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor degree – Technical background;
Preferred qualification – professional purchasing;
At least 2-3 years progressively responsible experience;
Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
Experience with ERP-System - SAP, Navision or similar is an advantage;
Excellent knowledge of English.
