This Position reports to:
Global Operations Manager
As the leader of the Trade and Transportation function within
Electrification, you’ll set the vision and strategy that drives our
global logistics and trade operations. This high-impact role offers
the opportunity to influence key decisions across Procurement,
Logistics, and Operations, while ensuring compliance with
international trade regulations. You’ll lead the implementation of
global initiatives, monitor performance through critical KPIs, and
play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain on a global
scale.
This role is open globally, but the preference is for European
countries.
The work model is hybrid #LI-hybrid.
Responsibilities:
Define and lead the global transport and trade strategy, managing
spending, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational
performance and cost efficiency across logistics and trade.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations through
proactive risk management and regulatory alignment.
Oversee global import/export operations, including product
classification and trade compliance strategies.
Lead a global network of Country Trade Compliance Managers and the
cross-Business Area Trade Center of Expertise (CoE).
Support logistics network optimization through advanced analytics
and strategic modeling.
Manage warehousing network spending and contracts, aligning with
broader procurement and logistics goals.
Champion digital transformation by implementing and owning global
systems like SAP TM and SAP GTS to improve supply chain
visibility.
Qualifications and skills:
Master’s degree in Logistics or a related field, with extensive
experience in both transportation/logistics and global trade
management.
Proven ability to lead within complex, matrixed organizations,
influencing stakeholders across regions, functions, and seniority
levels.
Strong expertise in supply chain management, including procurement,
logistics, capacity planning, and supplier relationship
management.
Demonstrated success in aligning operational execution with
strategic goals through effective budget and performance
management.
Deep knowledge of trade compliance, including customs clearance,
export controls, screening sanctions, and product
classification.
Skilled in project governance, data analysis, reporting, and
driving customer satisfaction through operational excellence.
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills, capable of
navigating dynamic regulatory environments and driving global
initiatives.
Inclusive, resilient, and results-driven leader with excellent
communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
Familiarity with SAP TM and SAP GTS is a plus.
