About the role:
As our new System Administrator, you will be the backbone of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for the reliable, secure, and continuous operation of our server systems, while also participating in the modernization of our IT processes and the transition to hybrid cloud solutions.
What you will do every day:
You will install, configure, and administer servers running Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
You will manage the local Active Directory infrastructure (user management, groups, access rights) and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
You will maintain and administer core network services such as DNS, DHCP, and file servers.
You will participate in managing our hybrid identity by integrating the local Active Directory with Azure EntraID.
You will monitor system performance, manage updates (patch management), and monitor the overall server infrastructure.
You will manage Backup and Restore processes to ensure the security of corporate information.
You will automate routine administrative tasks by writing scripts (e.g., using PowerShell).
You are the ideal candidate if:
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a System Administrator.
You possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in administering Windows Server and Active Directory.
You have experience with virtualization systems (VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V).
You understand core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing).
You have a higher education degree in computer science or another related IT specialty.
You possess analytical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
You are proficient in business English.
You will receive bonus points if you have experience with:
Administration of Microsoft 365 and cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate).
