We are looking for Reconciliation Specialist to join one of our clients in Sofia. The reconciliation specialist will be responsible for the effective functioning and/or monitoring of Client’s and Prime Brokerages related activities. It is a front to back service function supporting business including trade processing, un-affirmed/unmatched trades, mapping failure, breaks resolution and reporting.

The primary function is to ensure client trades and bank positions are managed effectively, mitigating risk and implementing controls accordingly on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Responds to the internal and external requests with respect to FX reconciliation, discrepancies, and investigations.
• Ensure all trade are properly captured by the firm’s in-house system and where necessary, investigating the root of issues and determining strategic solutions.
• Identifying inter/intrasystem exception stemming from breakdowns in trade lifecycle processing.
• Ensure daily activity is processed and risk and control items are mitigated in a timely manner.

Requirements and necessary skills

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• A proactive approach to daily work and ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize volume.
• Advance Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, Macros/Automation, VBA etc.
• Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings and holidays.
• Exemplary problem-solving skills; able to identify problems and implement corrective processes in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide training to other team members on job procedure and processes.
