Responsibilities

Purpose of the role:
Implementation of all necessary operative tasks to guarantee maintenance of operation
Run applications, services, platforms and network to deliver promised service portfolio according SLAs
Ensure 24x7 support based on locations in EMEA, US, APAC by on-call-duty

Key objectives of the role:
Responsible for incident resolution and incident management
Implement and manage changes
Provide installation of new versions and patches
Maintains close customer contact during operative work
Supplier management for incident related communication
Manage documentation of all executed tasks in a ticket tool and CMDB
Proactive capacity and performance management of systems and system components
Support in planning and implementation of projects / new designs

Requirements and necessary skills

“MUST HAVE” knowledge and experience:
3+ years of experience in administrating, troubleshooting and deploying a Skype for Business environment
Excellent skills in administrating Microsoft Skype for Business systems including PSTN access via TDM and SIP trunks via Session Border Controller
General understanding of Microsoft systems/technologies and applications such as Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, SQL, Windows Server
Experience/participation in implementing and/or migrating to Office 365 - Skype for Business Online
Knowledge in PSTN connectivity via ISDN and SIP Trunks and experienced with SIP troubleshooting
Knowledge in Digital Media Gateways and Session Border Controller (configuration and administration)
Experience with Microsoft certified phone deployments such as Polycom (CX/VVX)
Very good English language skills in both written and spoken

Considered an advantage:
Experience with Audio Codes products (SBC’s and Gateways) - Audio Codes Certified Associate
Microsoft MCSE Communication certification is considered
Experience with PowerShell scripting is considered
Experience with Automatic Call Distribution (ACD)
