Job Purpose
Design, secure, and maintain Exoscale’s Linux-based platform. Build automation and tooling, improve developer experience with self-service systems, and contribute to platform architecture. Ensure scalability, availability, and security, while supporting operations through reviews and on-call duties.

Role Insights:

Design and maintain the core Linux-based platform ecosystem.
Develop and manage PKI, secrets management, and security systems.
Contribute to platform tooling, automation, and orchestration development.
Enhance the developer experience (DX) by delivering self-service systems and pipelines.
Play a key role in the architecture and design of Exoscale’s platform systems.
Improve processes to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.
Participate in code and change reviews to uphold high development standards.
Join the on-call rotation after completing the training period.

What Makes You Unique:

Proficient in Golang (a must).
Experienced with Linux, including networking and security filtering.
Skilled in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
Comfortable working with KVM virtualization.
Knowledgeable in configuration management and large-scale infrastructure.
Strong communicator in English, both written and spoken.
