Today is the brand STIHL a name for quality and service all over the world. In over 160 countries of the world the STIHL products help people in their work. Among their products one can find for example power saws, motor devices, chains, rails, lawn-mowers, mount mowers, motor hoes, cut-off saws, aso.
The company is built up of production and distribution companies, which due to its worldwide presence, achieved in 2003 a turnover of approx. 1,53 billion Euro with 7,570 employees. The sales volume in Bulgaria amounts to about 7 million Euro.

The purpose of the role is to plan and implement sales and marketing activities in order to meet company targets for retention growth and profitability, and to contribute to the executive management of the company.

Main Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the whole activity of the distribution company on the Bulgarian market in specified geographic areas

• Supporting the dealers in organizing and participating professional fairs

• Coordinating and extending the local trade network

• Innovation organizing.

• Understanding, planning of profit and loss calculations, capital and revenue expenditure
• Possible location North-East Bulgaria: Varna, Shoumen, Veliko Tarnovo, Rousse
• Possible location South-East Bulgaria: Burgas, Sliven, Stara Zagora

5. The Ideal Candidate

Professional Requirements

- University degree in Economics, specialized on Distribution/Marketing
- pronounced technical understanding
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
- A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior big company executives
- Experience with a service connected specialized trade

Personal Abilities

- 35 - 45 years old, preferably Bulgarian citizen
- fluent written and spoken German or English knowledge
- the future position owner has to possess internally as well as externally a motivated leading and integrating personality
- empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view
- well presented and businesslike
- sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to a few days a month within the country
- sales oriented negotiation skills
- keen on new experience, responsibility and accountability. Ability to get on with others and be a team-player
- to be able to communicate and motivate - team building and team working
- understands the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling, cost per response, cost per conversion, etc.
