We are looking to hire Assistant F&B Managers for the F&B outlets in our hotel.
The Assistant F&B Outlet Manager is responsible for supporting the outlet F&B Manager in administering the planning, directing and managing of all Food & Beverage activities in the respective outlet.


Areas of Responsibility
 Under the general guidance of the F&B Outlet Manager assesses, evaluates and ensures that long-term and short-term goals of the respective Food & Beverage operation are met;
 Coordinates and analyses outlet costs on an ongoing basis and takes action to control negative deviation;
 Monitors Food & Beverage sales regarding discounts;
 Cooperates in auditing Food & Beverage services and quality on a regular basis and develops and implements strategies to improve results;
 Co-ordinates in-house activities and package plans with the F&B Outlet Manager;
 Ensures that prices and portions are offered in accordance with food and beverage profit objectives;
 Analyses financial reports relating to food & beverage, and proposes corrective action and follow-up;
 Takes part in managing and co-ordination of pricing and preparation of menus, beverages, and wine lists by taking the following into consideration:
o local requirements
o market needs
o competition
o trends
o potential costs and labor costs
o availability of food & beverage products
o merchandising and promotions

Requirements and necessary skills

Qualifications, Experience and Skills required
 Have a proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member management
 Be commercially aware
 Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards
 Good organizational and time-management skills.
 Self-motivated, proactive work ethic.
 Strong aptitude for customer service.
