Responsibilities

What is the role?

Financial Services is the front line of communication with clients. Every Client Services Representative strives to have a positive impact on clients trading, giving them value and leaving them with a positive experience, while at the same time positively impacting FXCM’s bottom line.

All representatives will be highly trained about the specifics of our markets, products and services we offer at the company’s cost. At FXCM, we take special care on the quality of the service that we provide, and as such, we have very high expectations from every single representative. Every conversation we have with clients is different, and a high degree of critical thinking is required to succeed in the position.

Due to this, high performing employees within this department have historically been promoted into a wide range of positions throughout the world including the highest levels of Executive Management.

What will I be doing day-to-day?

The Client Services Representative is a great way to begin your career at FXCM. As part of the Financial Services, your role would be to speak with any existing client regarding a variety of topics, from technical assistance in the trading platforms to assistance understanding financial concepts, answering technical questions about the executions of trades or FXCM internal procedures.

Your daily tasks would be, among other things:

• Assist clients via Live Chats/SMS, Inbound Calls, and Inbound Emails regarding subjects such as needed documentation, pending deposits/withdrawals, trading platforms, issues with particular trades and the movements in the markets, among others
• Work and coordinate with multiple FXCM departments as well as your colleagues to ensure client requests are always satisfied
• Perform outbound call campaigns to existing clients whenever there is a need for us to contact them regarding their accounts

Requirements and necessary skills

The requirements for the position are:

• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• High level of general computer proficiency, including a good level of Excel
• High level of critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to quickly grasp new materials and concepts quickly and efficiently
• Ability to consistently reach both personal and departmental qualitative and quantitative targets
• Good Mathematical skills, ability to follow, understand and apply mathematical examples to real-world scenarios on the fly

The advantages for the position are:

• Ability to discuss financial markets and factors that move them in a clear manner to clients
• Previous experience in a Customer Service position
• Previous experience working for a regulated Forex/CFD broker
• Bachelor’s degree
• Personal trading experience
• Programming experience
