  • JobTiger.tv won a prize for positive image of women in media

    On October, 19 were bestowed the first awards for positive image of women in advertising and marketing during the contest organized by EP Information Office in Bulgaria. In the category for “TV project” the winner is JobTiger.tv with its project of 50 video interviews with women from various professional fields.

    There were three nominees in the category for “TV project” competing for the prize - a project with 50 video interviews with women from different professional fields in the online career portal JobTiger.tv, “Mama's hour” on BTV Lady and “Investbook” on Bulgaria On Air. According to the jury JobTiger.tv won because of the variety of perspectives, the innovative approach in dealing with the topics and the new media channels to spread the message.

    Dr. Antonia Parvanova MEP (ALDE) congratulated the winners and expressed hope that their example will be a good role model. Part of the jury were also Maria Gabriel (UPP, GERB), and representatives of industry and NGOs in the field of media and advertising, experts and journalists.

    In the category for advertising campaign the winner is UniCredit Bulbank for the video “The real heroes - My personal banker”.

    About the prize
    The prize is promoted by the EP Information Office in Bulgaria in cooperation with MEPs Maria Gabriel and Dr. Antonia Parvanova, members of the Commission on Women's Rights and Gender Equality of the European Parliament. The prize is under the patronage of Kristalina Georgieva, member of the EU Comission.

    Partners of the EP Information Office in Bulgaria for the competition are Commission for Protection against Discrimination, Public Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria, Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies (BACA), Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies (BAPRA), Bulgarian Society for Public Relations (BPRS), Union of Bulgarian Journalists (UBJ), Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA), Bulgarian Fund for Women, Business Woman Magazine and Eve magazine.
