For one of our trusted partners we are looking for an experienced
and hands-on professional for the role of
COMPLIANCE OFFICER (Bulgaria & Romania)
The ROLE will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the
Compliance Management System based on standards applicable for
company. Will provide independent Compliance advice to the unit in
particular in the areas of anti-corruption, antitrust and
anti-money laundering. One of the key activities will be the
promotion of a positive Compliance, Integrity, Risk and speak up
culture through various Compliance measures within the unit based
on internal and external regulations.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in Legal, Risk Management,
Compliance, or similar areas;
In-depth understanding of national and European regulations
relevant for the industry;
University degree in Law, Audit, Finance or Management;
Experience of cooperation with internal and external stakeholders;
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
Risk / Compliance certifications will be considered a plus;
Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
Responsibilities:
Risk management: identification, assessment, measure, action and
follow up and reporting and use of tools like risk register;
Risk assessment under company’s policies and guidelines based on
risk tolerance and risk appetite;
Regulatory mapping and compliance with applicable internal and
external regulations;
Reviewing of internal procedures to identify areas of improvement,
alignment with applicable policies and regulations;
Coordinating with Group Internal Audit and external auditors,
developing action plans, implementing and follow up;
Coordinating with Internal Control Function and risk owners to
developing, implementing and improving controls;
Liaising with authorities on compliance affairs;
Supporting and assessment in global and local projects;
Organizing workshops and training sessions to educate and update
employees on the organization’s compliance policies, regulations,
and processes;
Preparing risk management reports for top-level management
(Managing Director, boards, Regional, Head Office) based on
internal reviews and advising the executives on risk mitigation
measures and implementation of adequate compliance programs.
Preparing annual reports on risk and compliance and employee annual
training plan.
