I. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops the team – trains and handles his subordinates technically
and administratively.
Monitors team’s performance and communicates it, represents the
team at meetings and conveys its needs as well as adheres the needs
of others.
Keeps focus on people’s development and that all tasks are done,
while assuring that excess always exists.
Takes ownership for the team's knowledge and resources,
actively seeking the integration of new tools and approaches to
improve the team's crucial metrics.
Participation in recruitment process – leading of technical
interviews, assessment of candidates, help with onboarding of new
hires.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end
developers with server side logic
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and
scalability
Implementation of security and data protection
Invent and implementation of data storage solutions
Maintain open communication with immediate manager, with respect to
work undertaken and ensure that performance standards/expectations
should not get breached.
Routinely check in and collaborate with immediate supervisor on
in-progress assignments and endeavors.
Provide timely progress reports and seek mentorship as needed to
ensure efficient workflow.
Attend & chip in to team huddles, meetings & ad hoc
meetings when required.
Assist in additional tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors
or management to support the achievement of department and
interpersonal goals.
II. INFORMATION LINKS AND RELATIONSHIP
In their everyday work, the Back-end Team Leader reports to their
manager or to the Managing Director of the Company, as per the
approved Company’s interpersonal chart.
Works closely with all relevant parties both inside and outside of
the company.
