Overview / Brief
To assist the EMEA Financing Manager and support the EMEA treasury
team located in Geneva, Lyon and Sofia, we are looking or a
Treasury Project Specialist.
This position will closely work with finance function located in
EMEA countries and with IT (FPSO) & Project teams.
Main Responsibilities:
Transversal projects adding value to the Group (cost optimization,
etc.):
Follow-up of a global cash pooling structure
Support to set-up a central intercompany treasury function
Participation in ad-hoc projects: ringfencings, mergers, set-up of
new businesses, improvement of treasury systems and reporting
tools, etc.
Be the link between back-office operation team, cash management
team, process and systems teams
Projects to integrate new businesses and activities:
In relation with the newly acquired businesses in Europe:
- Set-up of new bank accounts and connection with our existing cash
pooling
- Treasury System roll-outs
- Review of the current organization and processes, alignment with
LDC policies and procedures
- Support the integration of operational treasury tasks in EMEA
treasury team
Upon request from the Business or from EMEA countries, set-up and
maintenance of bank accounts, including SWIFT connectivity
Participation in treasury-related topics of SAP roll-outs
Internal control and security projects:
Review and challenge of treasury internal controls; improvements of
existing controls; implementation of remediation procedures where
applicable
Rationalization of ebanking accesses
Review and monitoring of the exceptions to the payment policy
Experience
University or business school degree in finance, with
specialization in Treasury (or accounting)
5 years experience in a banking or corporate environment
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)
Good contact and communication skills
High reactivity and problem solver, resistant to stress
Trustworthy and reliable. Conscientious and accurate
Project-oriented mindset
General knowledge of Banking connectivity environment (SWIFT)
Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (Quantum, Trax) is a
plus
Fluency in English; French would be considered as a plus
