What will be your tasks:
• The role sits within Global Application Operations and is focused
on the service management of IT solutions and its vendor’s and
supplier’s performance and the delivery of managed services to
satisfy the business needs;
• The role focuses on the global SAP solution for Travel Management
= CONCUR;
• Concur is an ITBs travel management platform used for all travel
arrangements and the respective approvals and travel expenses;
• Managing the set of contractual obligations and services to
ensure that the best value is being driven out of our Outsource
Partners for the overall IT service towards the Business;
• Ensuring ITIL processes are devolved and maintained across
outsource partners and retained organization work effectively for
IT and the business;
• Be the SPOC (single point of contact) and SME (subject matter
expert) for the operational IT around the applications in scope;
ensures processes and procedures with vendors for continuity,
incident management, problem management and change management and
other ITIL processes;
• Run Governance forums and ensure issues are dealt with or
escalated within the Governance framework;
• Contributing to the successful delivery of functional
targets;
• Support the process of sourcing new vendors, assisting to
negotiate the best commercial and operational deals through the
provision and analysis of relevant data;
• Ensuring Vendor performance against SLAs through the running of
regular Service Quality Reviews, and instigating Service
Improvement Plans where appropriate;
• Acting as the initial point of escalation for all contract and
governance issues;
• Enabling the acquisition of new products and services from
vendors. Driving standardization and elimination of complexity of
solutions and processes;
• Maintain, evolve and run a suite of additional measures and
improvement items in order to continually increase the level of
vendor performance;
• For process improvement and/or project work – utilizing and
coordinating resources in order to deliver;
• Work with Finance and Procurement to ensure that all the
necessary data is available to enable timely validation of
costs/invoices, and resolve issues arising;
• Introducing innovation and continuous improvement into services
provided by individual vendors at reduced costs;
• Coordinating activities around system re-freshes, system copies
and disaster recovery tests;
• Measuring and validating the actual application license
utilization within the system landscape;
• Supporting the annual internal and external IT Audit;
• Drive transitioning existing services from the in-house providers
to external Vendors.
Qualifications:
• Educated to Bachelor's or Master's degree level, ideally
in Information Technology, Engineering Business, Economics, or
equivalent;
• Experience with CONCUR or similar systems;
• Fluently English in speaking and writing;
• Proven experience in application management and end-to-end IT
support;
• Proven experience in operating large-scale platforms with
multiple business stakeholders and IT suppliers;
• Proven experience working with multi-support teams in different
regions, languages, and cultures;
• Proven experience in Vendor Management;
• Proven experience of ITIL v3 or v4 best practices;
• Proven experience in Operational IT management roles;
• Experience with SM tools, technologies and SM/ITIL methods in the
remit of Global Service Delivery;
• Ability to manage key relationships with internal and External IT
stakeholders;
• Background in information technology with a clear understanding
of the challenges of operational IT, information management and
modern Cloud infrastructures and services;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify
and fix operational IT issues with Vendors;
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
