Operational Responsibilities:
Update production schedules within the Master Production Schedule
(MPS) horizon, considering order deadlines and configurations,
changes in industrial scenarios, or modifications to workshop
organization;
Perform capacity/load forecasts, balance workloads based on site
closure periods and critical manufacturing resources, while
ensuring compliance with planning rules (horizon, stability);
Oversee production progress monitoring and ensure synchronization
between progress and planning with the scheduling department;
Lead weekly MPS validation meetings and ensure integration into the
SAP system;
Coordinate the resolution of production issues and implement
corrective and preventive actions to meet customer deadlines;
Analyze manufacturing cycles and their evolution, ensuring the
consistency of planning models (synopsis), the SAP theoretical
cycle, and the measurement of actual cycles. Drive actions to
optimize planning and work-in-progress (WIP) financials;
Participate in defining transfer offloading specifications;
Assist in calculating requirements for specific tooling (boards,
jigs, shuttle crates, etc.) upon request;
Ensure the updating of key performance indicators necessary for
activity monitoring;
Communicate with headquarters regarding the site’s situation and
any issues encountered.
Management Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the planning team to ensure the achievement of
objectives;
Define clear individual and collective goals aligned with the
Supply Chain strategy and the site’s operational priorities;
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback,
and support the professional development of team members through
training, coaching, and skill enhancement initiatives;
Ensure effective organization of work within the team, including
workload distribution, task prioritization, and resource
planning;
Promote a collaborative and continuous improvement culture within
the planning function, encouraging initiative and cross-functional
cooperation;
Contribute to talent identification, succession planning, and
future recruitment needs within the planning team, in coordination
with the Human Resources department;
Represent the planning team in coordination meetings with
Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service, ensuring
alignment and communication across all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree (6-7 years) in Supply Chain;
Management or equivalentStrong knowledge of manufacturing
processes;
Strong managerial knowledge;
Proficiency in planning concepts and the Theory of Constraints;
Expertise in production management concepts related to both push
flows (MRP, etc.) and pull flows (Kanban);
Understanding of material flows and organizational structures
within a company;
Solid knowledge of MRP2;
Agility and adaptability;
Customer-focused mindset;
High standards and attention to quality;
Analytical and synthesis skills;
Innovative thinking;
Ability to anticipate and plan ahead;
Strong communication skills;
Commitment to QHSE principles (Quality, Health, Safety &
Environment).
