We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Platform Service
Reliability Engineer.
As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing
Kubernetes clusters, leveraging Crossplane expertise, and
delivering custom solutions to operate and maintain vanilla
Kubernetes environments.
Additionally, you will participate in 24×7 on-call duties
to ensure the uninterrupted availability and reliability of our
Kubernetes platforms.
Your daily routine would include:
Design, deployment, and maintenance of vanilla Kubernetes clusters
to support diverse workloads and ensure optimal performance;
Utilize and contribute to Crossplane for infrastructure and
application orchestration, ensuring seamless integration with
existing workflows;
Developing and implementing innovative, scalable solutions tailored
to specific operational needs, aligning with best practices for
Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies;
Design and implement automation pipelines to enhance the efficiency
of Kubernetes operations and streamline deployment processes;
Establish and manage monitoring systems to ensure comprehensive
observability of Kubernetes environments, proactively addressing
potential issues;
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers
and SREs, to align Kubernetes solutions with organizational goals
and ensure smooth operations;
Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for processes,
configurations, and operational guidelines.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
Proven experience in Kubernetes cluster management and a deep
understanding of cloud-native technologies;
Hands-on experience with Crossplane, including deploying and
managing infrastructure through declarative configurations;
Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash,
and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools;
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD)
and container technologies (e.g., Docker, containerd);
Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure,
GCP) and their Kubernetes services;
Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or
similar monitoring solutions;
Experience contributing to open-source projects, particularly in
the Kubernetes ecosystem.
