What will be your tasks:
• Deliver a comprehensive PMO service to support the delivery of
projects and programs
• Contribute to and implement effective practices to drive projects
to deliver successfully within the governance framework
• Build strong relationships with a wide range of internal
stakeholders
• Collate and contribute to audit and health checks on projects
within the department
• Facilitate and support governance framework processes such as
gate and checkpoint reviews
• Provide reporting and governance support to the portfolio
steering group and senior management
• Support lessons learned sessions and project closedown
• Provide project inductions/lead project onboarding
activities
• Provide customized templates/tools where required
• Assist project and program managers throughout the project
lifecycle
• Financial management support, such as raising Purchase Orders,
tracking invoices, goods receipting and liaising with IT finance
teams
• Work with planning and risk functions to support project
managers in providing detailed project plans, forecasts and RAID
logs
• Review diaries, organize meetings, and prepare appropriate
documents
• Ensure quality and consistency of data entered by project
managers into the portfolio management tool (Planview One)
Qualifications:
• Understand project and program lifecycles, governance, and
controls
• Understand the key elements required to set up project
organization and governance for IT projects
• Experience in data management, providing insight from management
information
• Experience with Microsoft suite is essential
• Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential
• Exposure to large and/or complex projects, programs or
portfolios
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal and
external stakeholders
• Highly organized, strong analytical abilities and attention to
data quality
• Experience working for a global company preferred
• Experience in the use of Planview One is preferred, but not
essential
• Strong prioritization skills
