As a RAN Operations Engineer, you will fine-tune the intricate
dance of radio access networks, ensuring each signal strikes a
perfect chord for seamless connectivity and maximum efficiency.
Your daily routine would include:
To be responsible for the planning, optimization and configuration
of mobile radio access network elements;
Integration of radio access network elements;
Performing SW&HW upgrades;
Checking the main performance indicators of the functional elements
of the radio network and making the necessary configuration and
optimization changes;
Troubleshooting the main elements of the radio access network;
Participating in the design and implementation of
telecommunications solutions on various network platforms;
Participating in the integration and commissioning of the new base
stations;
Participating in the organization and implementation of operational
procedures for renewal and expansion;
Analyzing KPIs, alarms, logs, and traces;
Participating in the activities for providing and testing 2G / 3G /
4G / 5G / VoLTE / Nb-IoT services;
Coordinating plans and tasks with other A1 teams and partners.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
Very good knowledge of the working principles, functioning and
elements of mobile 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G networks;
Knowledge of working with network and telecommunication protocols
such as IP / TCP / HTTP / SCTP / GTP / SIGTRAN /S1AP / SGSAP;
Experience in working with UNIX / LINUX operating systems and
analysis tools such as Wireshark;
General knowledge of IP infrastructure and communication;
Excellent analytical and communication skills;
Proficiency in English at a working level, German will be
considered as an advantage;
Computer skills for working with MS Office;
Willingness to work in intensive load mode;
Previous experience in performing configuration activities in Radio
Access Network would be considered as an advantage;
Communication skills and ability to work in a team;
Experience with SQL and databases would also be considered an
advantage.
