Job Purpose:
As a Selfcare Analyst and Senior Developer within the A1 Competence
Delivery Center, you will play a crucial role in designing,
developing, and maintaining web selfcare to meet the business needs
of internal customers and stakeholders. Your role involves a mix of
acts as a bridge between the business stakeholders and the
technical development team.
Their primary goal is to understand the business needs and
translate them into clear, actionable requirements for the
developers to build the selfcare application and responsible for
the technical implementation of the web selfcare application based
on the requirements and the design provided by UX/UI designers.
You will work closely with these stakeholders to define
requirements and goals for innovative and digital solutions. By
leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to the seamless
developing and maintain of A1 selfcare applications, ensuring
robust and efficient business processes.

Role insights:
Gathering requirements from various stakeholders (marketing,
customer support, product owners, and sometimes even customers)
through interviews, workshops, surveys, and other techniques;
Integration with External Systems: Connecting A1 Selfcare with
other enterprise systems and applications (e.g., CRM, ERP,
authentication systems, billing) using various integration methods
like RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration
frameworks;
Conducting Unit Testing & Automating Regression Testing
Scenarios and automate regression testing to ensure ongoing
stability and performance;
Customizing Existing selfcare Features: Modifying and extending
functionalities, such as web content management, user management,
search, and workflow, to meet specific business requirements;
Supporting Incident Analysis: Utilise in-depth system and process
knowledge to support incident analysis and resolution;
Being Part of a Cross-Functional, International, Agile Team:
Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to achieve
project goals.
What makes you unique:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related
field, and/or 4+ years of relevant work experience;
Java Development background as well as design and development of
web services (REST, SOAP). Spring Framework and web technologies:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java and J2EE;
Knowledge of Database tools (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB);
Experience in requirements analysis and specification, as well as
Knowledge of selfcare core components, APIs, and development
frameworks is clearly a plus. Understanding of Web Selfcare
Concepts: Familiarity with common selfcare functionalities (e.g.,
profile management, service requests, knowledge base access,
troubleshooting tools);
Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high problem-solving
competence;
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity
with agile project methodologies;
Resilient under stress and able to achieve the best results even in
challenging situations;
Fluency in English; any other A1 Group language is an asset.
