Our client is the largest office park in Southeast Europe. For them
we are seeking an experienced and responsible Senior
Accountant/Controller with a strong background in accounting and
financial controlling. This role will oversee all aspects of
financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory
and financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts
receivable/payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and conduct variance
analysis.
• Prepare and present financial and management reports.
• Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights.
• Optimize accounting processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting
regulations, including IFRS.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and
procedures.
• Research and resolve technical accounting issues.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial transactions and
reporting.
• Oversee tax filings and government reporting requirements.
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
field.
• 7+ years of experience in similar accounting and finance
roles, preferably in Real Estate sector.
• Strong financial management expertise with a proven track
record.
• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and data
analysis.
• In-depth understanding of IFRS, accounting principles and
advance knowledge of Taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint).
• Fluency in Bulgarian and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of responsibility, proactiveness, and a
solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong compliance and regulatory knowledge.
