We are expanding the Inventory, FM and PM team within NW Tools and
Automation Department of the A1 Competence Delivery Center. Be a
part of this exciting journey!
We are looking for a new team member as a Senior Application
Support Engineer with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new
technologies and trends.
Previous experience in a similar position is always welcome in
applicants.
Your daily routine would include:
Working with internal customers to identify and define requirements
for new solutions;
Enhancing application functionality to meet business needs;
Executing tasks in Windows corporate environment;
Basic Linux servers administration;
Supporting production and test Operational Support Systems (OSS)
and platforms;
Joint troubleshooting with 3rd level technical support of
vendors;
Configuration and administration of different OSS graphs, widgets,
tables, reports, alarms;
Configuration and operation of applications monitoring in tools
like Nagios or Grafana;
Installation and upgrade of system software/applications;
Automation and orchestration of operational tasks;
On-call duties per schedule.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
Telecommunications background or knowledge in transport, radio,
core networks;
3+ years experience in application support and development;
2+ years experience with writing SQL queries, procedures and
functions;
Hands-on experience with Linux environment;
Experience in ITIL/ITSM (CR, Incidents, SLA) environment;
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and
tools;
Knowledge in Linux and Windows corporate environment;
Understanding of computer networking systems and technologies;
Fluency in English – both written and spoken. German language is a
plus;
DNS, Active Directory knowledge is a plus;
Industry certificates (ex. CCNA) is a plus;
Experience with OOP (ex. C#, Java) is a plus.
