Role Responsibilities:

Develop new and maintain core backend features, take ownership of things developed;
Build reusable code, libraries and systems for future use;
Optimize individual components and the overall platform for for dependability, scalability and performance;
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Key Skills Required:
5+ years experience in backend application design and implementation;
Strong logical thinking skill set;
Deep knowledge of PHP (or one other language like Rust or golang);
Knowledge of testing strategies and best practices;
Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux command line;
Common source control and deployment strategies (Git, Jenkins/CircleCI/Docker);
The ability to make quick decisions and iterate often;
Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you. looking to work and grow in a collaborative environment where the team is always susceptible to well placed suggestions - making the overall team stronger, not being defensive but open.
