MAIN CHALLENGES:
Comprehensive legal service to UBB's support units:
Preparation and coordination of contracts with suppliers, including
assistance in the implementation of regulatory requirements related
to outsourcing, personal data protection, DORA;
Legal security of the disposal and management of the bank's
property - coordination/preparation of lease agreements for the
sale of real estate and movable property, as well as all
accompanying documents; consultations on property and obligations
issues;
Preparation of powers of attorney;
Assistance in labor law cases;
Assisting the Compliance Directorate in matters related to personal
data and money laundering;
Monitoring of the current legislation and assistance in its
implementation in the Bank's activities; preparation and
coordination of internal regulatory documents;
Legal representation of the Bank in administrative procedures and
in court cases arising from the activities of the serviced banking
units;
Participation in legal risk – assessment and preparation of
opinions on legal risk in accordance with the group policies of KBC
Group;
Registration and maintenance of UBB's trademarks
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS:
Master’s degree in law and obtained legal capacity
2 of legal experience for Legal Advisor / 5 years of legal
experience for Senior Legal Advisor
Good command in English, including legal English
Good legal literacy – knowledge in the field of property, contract,
banking, commercial law, intellectual property law, personal data
protection, civil procedure
Ability to think analytically and innovatively
Excellent communication skills
Computer literacy – good knowledge of MS Office and specialized
legal software
