The Senior Linux System Administrator will provide technical
expertise for configuring and administering Linux environments for
our GreenLake Management customers.
How you will make your mark:
Deliver strategic account support by operating and administrating
customer IT Environment to ensure proper operation and
availability
Provide technical assistance and guidance
Act as a consultant in service delivery and certain technology or
application
Provide leadership in technical incident and problem management and
in their resolution, working closely with end customers and HPE
remote and field support staff
Participate/Drive ITIL based change management, problem management,
incident management and attend Customer Change Advisory Board
(CAB)
Develop customer account relationships
Coordinate technical activities for one or more customers
Advise & implement new OS & Cluster patches/updates, OS
Versions update
Respond to security incidents
Manage technical knowledge transfer and maintain training plans
Mentor and assist team members on complex situations (incidents,
problems, changes, escalations etc.)
Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex
issues/problems and clearly communicate these to engineers,
customers and/or relevant managers
