Site IT Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:
o Operational status of locally presented IT services with the help and supervision of the Regional IT Manager;
o Corporate IT team and the Regional IT Manager;
o Implement and operate the IT technical solutions;
o Follow and conduct Corporate IT procedures and policies;
o Provide first level of service desk to the users;
o Monitor the operational condition the local IT infrastructure, Servers and Services;
o Promote awareness programs on IT threats and security best practices ;
o Report on a weekly basis to the Regional IT Manager;
o Operate under direct management of site Financial Manager and Regional IT Manager;
o Maintain in working order the IT facilities;
o Organize logistics and procurement of all due IT equipment;
o Supervise operational conditions of the local:
· Industrial IT equipment
· Personal computers, laptops, monitors, printing devices, peripherals, etc.
· Network infrastructure devices
· Servers, NAS, backup system
· Telephony (fixed and mobile)
· Application software o Install and configure local equipment and software, according to best corporate practices and procedures
o Help the local users with the IT Support (L1 Service Desk)

Requirements:
o University level, IT Technical/Engineering diploma (MSSC. MSCSC);
o Good verbal and written communication skills;
o Proven IT experience within an industrial company (aeronautics area would be great);
o General knowledge in system and computer assets administration (Windows, Linux, VMware);
o General knowledge of network administration (Cisco/Huawei);
o Maintenance skills for servers, computers, laptops, mobile devices and network;
o User support experience (ITIL knowledge would be great);
o Suppliers and service management experience;
o Ability to work under direct management supervision;
o Ability to work closely with the site managers and colleagues (part of them will be French expatriates);
o Rigorous, methodological, willing to work in a team, good relationship skills;
o Problem solver;
o Excellent diagnostic capabilities;
o Ability to build external networks/relations with "IT services" stakeholders;
o Ability to prioritize tasks and solicited central help from the Corporate IT Department;
o Consciousness, high-working capacity, creativity, proposals maker;
o Ability to take in charge activities locally on one’s own while being part of a greater remote team;
o Ability to carry out the basic tasks of the job simultaneously and define medium-to-long-term vision for the site;
o Ability to escalate problems with objective analysis of the situation.
