THE CROWN IS YOURS

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a tight-knit and stable team that owns a specific area of our platform, from the UI to the database. The Daily Fantasy Sports team drives DraftKings’ original product with year-round sports contests, focusing on innovation, scalability, and operational excellence. You will work alongside senior engineers who will help bring you up to speed, ensuring a smooth transition into your role. We value collaboration and your ability to contribute meaningfully within your team, providing an excellent platform to grow your engineering career.


WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Develop systems and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.

Write clean, maintainable, and readable code while adhering to team coding quality standards. This includes writing different types of tests.

Investigate problems of diverse scopes, identify, and resolve problems of different complexity.

Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment’s notice.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING

At least 2 years of professional experience in .NET/C#, building robust and maintainable backend systems.

Working knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.

Exposure to RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, cloud platforms, and CI/CD workflows is considered a plus.

Proactive and growth-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to learn, take ownership, and tackle technical challenges with initiative.

Collaborative mindset, a drive for continuous improvement, and openness to feedback
