For one of our valued clients, a global leader in automation technology and technical education, we’re currently looking for a Technical writer to join a rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities

• Your main focus is on the creation of high-quality and in-time information products for the company’s customers – thereby adhering to relevant standards, guidelines and company’s editorial guidelines.
• Semantic data preparation according to didactic, stylistic and normative aspects for different target groups, for software products/electrical drive products.
• Information research and design of user-centric content.
• Support of information development and data preparation based on the requirements of digital transformation for new media.
• Independent and efficient work in an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements and necessary skills

• Technical university degree.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical writing.
• Very good knowledge of English, at least level C1 spoken and written.
• German language skills are a plus.
• Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and in a target group-oriented manner.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills to successfully formulate concepts and ideas.
• Knowledge of module-based data entry in a content management system (CCMS) is a plus.
• Passion for evolving techniques in technical communication and very good analytical skills.
• Minimal travel activity (10%) to headquarters in Germany at regular intervals.
• Capable of making fast decisions and taking the responsibility for the results in dynamic and changing environment.
• Oriented towards goals achieving and results.
• Team player, able to work in a multicultural working environment.
• Thinking out of the box, creativity and continuous improvement attitude.
• Flexible, adaptable, open to meet the change and acquire new knowledge and skills.
