Position Summary
The Cargill Business Services (CBS) Group has six locations throughout North America, Latin America and Europe. The purpose of the business service centers is to enable our partners to focus on their business activities and achieve Cargill Strategic Intent. We leverage our deep knowledge and expertise in Finance, Accounting and Business Process Shared Services to provide effective and efficient services globally in the areas of Procure to Pay, Order and Trade Settlement to Cash, Record to Report, and Travel Expense Report Processing. The Cargill Business Service Center in Sofia will be delivering services in the areas of RTR such as Admin Accounting , SGA Expense team, Budget and allocations, Reconciliations and others. The Tax Accountant position will be a part of the Accounting team, which provides accounting services for the financial controllers’ organization within Cargill. In this position you will communicate with businesses and tax personnel on issues arising with the VAT and Intrastat reporting to External Bodies.
*The Corporate name of the position is Tax Accountant.

Principal Accountabilities:
Prepare, check and consolidate VAT Returns and Intrastat Reports,
Daily communication with Tax personnel, Businesses and Minneapolis Tax personnel on questions arising within VAT taxation process and outputs,
Participate in Process improvement projects within FSS and support other Roles in the area of Record-to-Report

Изисквания и необходими умения

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
4 years’ experience in Tax accounting, Tax Advisory, Tax Auditing
Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
Ability to communicate/interact with multiple levels of the organization
Strong organizational skills and ability to work on concurrent objectives
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Motivated for continuous improvement
Fluent English
