About us

This is a well known River & Ocean Cruise company that has grown to be the Worlds Leading River Cruise Line, and with the launch of its ocean fleet, it has also become the leader in small ship ocean cruising. Established in 1997, the company has expanded to over 70 river vessels and 6 ocean vessels.


Professional preparation and distribution of daily meals including breakfast, lunch, tea time, dinner, etc. for crew and guests in accordance with Executive Chef manual and menu cycle
Ordering of stock in cooperation with Executive Chef
Correct handling of all products and equipment
Ensuring of perfect cleanliness in working area in accordance with HACCP rules
Conducting stock takes; inventory according to company procedures
Preparation to open and close ships at start and end of season
Assistance in other departments upon instruction from supervisors (if required)
Performance according to company standards and HACCP rules
Participation in loading processes
Correct storage of stock; establishing of par levels
Active participation in onboard training programs
Luggage duty on embarkation and disembarkation day

Requirements and necessary skills

With experiences only, ready within the next 2-3 Weeks
EU passport required
Vaccinated or willing to be
Must speak a good level of English

We offer

The company offers seasonal swiss/French contracts usually. These include:
- Social Benefits: Health & Accident insurance, payments into pension fund.
-Vacation: 5-10 weeks paid vacation during the season (depending on contract length, approx. every 8 weeks on board 2 weeks off).
-Working hours: The standard hours of work will be 48 hours/week. Maximum working hours (incl. standby) are 72 hours/week.
-Training: is fully paid, all candidates will be assigned to openings after successfully completion of the training. Travel expenses will be reimbursed once the candidate starts the contract (not during the training).
-Salary: Net, depending on position, including tips. Salary is paid monthly directly to candidates bank account. Hand tip stays with candidate.
-Uniform: will be provided. Shoes have to be provided by candidate. For all kitchen crew: knives have to be brought by candidates.
- Travel: the first and last trip of the season, to and from the vessel, will be reimbursed after the successful completion of the probation period.
-Accommodation: All vessels are new and well maintained; with modern crew cabins for 2 people, comprising of bunk-beds, private bathroom and flat screen TV. Full board is provided, and the use of Wi-Fi is free.
