As part of Wacoms business units, our Global Ink Division is responsible for Software Technology Research and Development. It was established in 2011, with main forces in Bulgaria, UK & US. Today for our growing office in Sofia with more than 50 employees, we are looking for a .Net Web / Cloud Developer.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a member of our Cloud team, you will participate in the development of cloud services and web application, part of Wacoms Inkspace Ecosystem, using C# / .NET Core, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, JavaScript / React etc. You will develop components and services for storage, processing and manipulation of digital ink, which will then be used by our note-taking and sketching applications. You will work closely with the tech lead and the development team and you will also collaborate with QA and design teams. This position requires an experienced developer with engineering mind-set, who will fully participate in the whole software development life cycle.

Tasks:

Work together with 3 .NET developers and a DevOps engineer under the supervision of the Cloud team tech lead;
Perform development, maintenance and bug-fixing in projects that require the usage of different Wacom technologies for digital inking and cloud services;
Assist with the technical design, planning and estimation of the documentation provided by product and design teams;
Help to identify gaps in the design, as well as assess risks in the planning and execution;
Cooperate and assist the QA teams to ensure faults and other problems are identified and fixed quickly;
Perform code reviews and support best practices and process improvements;
Stay up-to date with the latest technology trends.

Requirements and necessary skills

Profile:

At least 4 years of experience in .NET web development;
At least 1 year of experience with SPA (preferably with React but similar technologies are welcome too);
Excellent understanding of C#, OOP concepts, SOLID principles, algorithms;
Experience with building RESTful APIs with .NET Core 3.1, NodeJS etc, and complex API integrations;
Good understanding of frontend technologies (React, JavaScript, Babel, Webpack);
Experience with testing frameworks (JEST, Mocha, Jasmine);
Working knowledge of development tools and systems, e.g. VS Code, WebStorm, Git, Jira, Confluence;
Good understanding of the software development life cycle;
Self-driven person, highly motivated to acquire new skills and apply them in the ongoing projects;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent spoken and written English.
