Key Duties And Responsibilities:
Х As the security architect within the Apex Group you will undertake complex work of a high risk level, often working across several projects.
Х Assisting management and other key stakeholders with understanding and implementing information security responsibilities;
Х Promoting information security education, training and awareness throughout The Apex Group especially for new employees and IS team members;
Х Identifying significant threat changes and exposures to threats of assets associated with information security and assisting in remediation efforts;
Х Interact with senior stakeholders across departments and be the point of contact for information security for other architectural resources within the group
Х Research and apply innovative security architecture solutions to new or existing problems and be able to justify and communicate design decisions
Х Understand the impact of decisions, balancing requirements and deciding between approaches
Х Develop vision, principles and strategy for security architecture on project or technology decisions
Х Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
Х Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment
Х Lead the technical design of secure systems, services and produce particular patterns that support quality assurance. Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
Х Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
Х Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
