Credit risk team in Sofia is looking to expand its capabilities and
further contribute to Group Credit risk function by appointing a
Data analytics and BI expert, responsible for building, deploying
and maintaining reporting solutions and dashboards using Microsoft
Power BI and other automation solutions to drive efficiency in the
reporting and risk monitoring process.
Main responsibilities:
Functional subject matter expert (SME) on Global Credit risk
reporting solutions.
Responsible for adoption of Self-service Power BI solution for
Credit risk function and proactively address the reporting needs of
respective Global and Regional Credit risk teams.
Development and deployment of operational reports, build automated
reports and dashboards with Power BI and other solutions based on
business needs (e.g. drive initiatives for automation - RPA, Power
automate, etc.)
Driving improvements in the Credit risk reporting process to reduce
the number of manual interventions.
Participate in building AI agents and other AI initiatives to serve
the Global Credit Risk function.
Responsible for communicating business requirements to the IT team
and the system vendor. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure
robust data infrastructure and architecture are in place and
reporting solutions are continuously monitored.
Participation in different group-wide initiatives and projects for
improvement in data sourcing.
Be persistently curious about the entire data lifecycle of the
function; look for further solutions to be implemented (such as
software, data techniques, programming languages).
Experience:
3-5 years of professional experience in Data analytics related
function
Experience developing and implementing reports in a data-reporting
tool (Power BI preferred)
Data Engineering and Analysis: Proficient in processing and
transforming large datasets using Python (pandas, NumPy), SQL, and
database connectors to prepare business reports, including
automated database uploads while adhering to business
requirements.
Experience with Python for data science (NumPy, Pandas, ETL
processes)
Ability to apply ETL (export, transform, load) to save time and
drive efficiencies
Experience in the International Group is an advantage especially in
Trade Business
Knowledge /Technical & Functional skills:
Fluency in English language
Excellent knowledge of Power BI or similar BI solutions, MS Office,
especially Excel
Solid understanding of Python and advanced SQL knowledge (window
functions, temporary tables etc.)
Good knowledge of database fundamentals and management
Data Science Certification is an advantage
Soft skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business
requirements into technical specifications
Ability to translate complex data into insights, strongly developed
interpersonal skills, confident communicator
Strong attention to details and quality review of deliverables and
data governance
Team player, able to contribute to a multi-cultural team and
experience in cross-functional teamwork
Ability to communicate with business as well as technical teams
Education:
Relevant University degree (Informatics, Business Informatics,
Finance is highly desirable).
