About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive System
Administrator with strong knowledge of networking and internet
connectivity. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining
IT systems, ensuring network stability, and providing reliable
infrastructure that supports our operations. This role requires
hands-on experience with servers, networks, and security protocols,
as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and
software applications.
Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including switches,
routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Ensure stable and secure internet connections across all business
systems and locations.
Troubleshoot system and network issues, providing timely
resolutions to minimize downtime.
Implement and maintain system backups, disaster recovery, and
security protocols.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve system
reliability and performance.
Document configurations, processes, and procedures for IT
operations.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in system
administration and networking.
Requirements
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator,
or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN,
etc.).
Experience with firewalls, routers, and internet connectivity
troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux server administration.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V,
etc.).
Knowledge of IT security best practices and tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA, or
similar.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Monitoring tools experience (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, etc.).
