This Position reports to:
Customer Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the
deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit,
including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with
the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring
sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization
in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement,
robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable
solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by
collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results
to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for
world-class performance.
The work model for the role is onsite.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Conducts and oversees comprehensive electrical testing and
verification of products—covering insulation resistance, functional
checks, torque verification, and full compliance with IEC and ABB
standards.
Supports assembly and wiring processes by interpreting electrical
diagrams, validating correct installation, and ensuring quality of
busbar systems, control circuits, and electrical connections.
Consults operators and inspectors on electrical safety, proper
wiring practices, and critical quality checkpoints, while ensuring
strict adherence to established safety procedures.
Collaborates with engineering teams and customers to improve
electrical designs, enhance testing methods, participate in
witness/acceptance tests, and propose process optimizations for
greater reliability and compliance.
Qualifications for the role
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical quality control or
testing environment, assembly and testing of low-voltage products
or similar electrical equipment
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical
qualification
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of busbar systems, electrical connections, and insulation
testing. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and
wiring diagrams
Familiarity with IEC standards and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
procedures
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to
think critically, adapt to change, and work effectively in a
dynamic, cross-functional environment.
