Job Summary:
Latecoere Bulgaria Ltd. is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with Bulgarian legislation, and contributing to financial reporting and audits.
Responsibilities:
o Enter and process primary accounting documents in SAP (invoices, payment documents, fixed asset depreciation, payroll-related expenses and liabilities, provisions, etc.) in accordance with Bulgarian and EU legislation and Group policies;
o Maintain supplier, customer, general ledger, and asset data in SAP;
o Issue sales invoices;
o Prepare reports required by regulatory authorities (NRA, NSI, BNB) related to accounting and taxation;
o Communicate with tax authorities and other government institutions regarding accounting and tax matters;
o Participate in the preparation of the annual financial statements;
o Support financial, tax, ISO, and other audits;
o Participate in asset and liability inventory processes;
o Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts;
o Ensure confidentiality of company information;
o Comply with internal labor rules, health and safety regulations, and company policies;
o Perform additional tasks assigned by management in accordance with labor legislation.
Requirements:
o University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
o Previous experience in a similar positionis advantage;
o Good knowledge of Bulgarian Accounting Act, Corporate Income Tax Act, Local Taxes and Fees Act, and related regulations;
o Strong understanding of Bulgarian tax and accounting legislation;
o Good command of English (written and spoken);
o Self-disciplined and able to carry out detailed work with minimum supervision;
o Good organizational and analytical skills.
