General duties
- Analyze and document accounting processes and controls to ensure their effective implementation within the new core banking system.
- Ensure the successful application of accounting knowledge, rules, and requirements into new technological solutions.
- Actively participate in transformation and process optimization projects.
- Participate in system testing activities and verify compliance with accounting, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting controls to ensure the accounting data quality.
- Prepare analyses and recommendations for improving processes, controls, and system functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with accounting, business, and IT teams to deliver transformation initiatives and projects.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in an audit company, financial or bank institution.
- Good knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and IAS (International Accounting Standards).
- Experience with business process analysis and optimization will be considered an advantage.
- Very good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
- Good command of English.
- Knowledge of SQL will be considered an advantage.
