Role Overview:
As an ACS Tools Engineer at A1 CDC, you will manage and optimize ACS platforms (HDM: Motive, AVS, Genie) for CPE data collection and management. You will work with TR-069, TR-369, and TR-181 protocols to ensure automated configuration and smooth operation of CPE devices. The role includes maintaining platform performance, developing automation solutions, and troubleshooting issues to deliver high service quality and excellent customer experience.
Role insights:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of ACS platforms (HDM/Motive, AVS, Genie) to ensure smooth CPE management across fixed and mobile networks.
- Manage TR protocols (TR-069, TR-369, TR-181) to automate device provisioning, CPE data collection, and management of diverse customer devices.
- Develop automation solutions with Python, Bash, and SQL to streamline tasks, boost efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
- Integrate ACS platforms with network systems and troubleshoot issues to maintain high performance, availability, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that meet business and technical needs.
- Maintain technical documentation, generate performance reports, and implement improvements to optimize platform functionality and resilience.
What makes you unique:
- Proven experience with ACS platforms (Nokia HDM: Motive, AVS, Genie) and strong knowledge of TR-069, TR-369, and TR-181 protocols for CPE management.
- Solid technical background in networking protocols, data technologies, and device management, with hands-on Linux administration experience (RHEL).
- Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, SQL) with a focus on automating tasks and improving operational efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a track record of troubleshooting complex network and device issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fluent in English.
- Flexible and collaborative, with a willingness to travel occasionally for project coordination or network troubleshooting.
