The Role: Area Visual Merchandiser (based in Sofia, covers an area of approx. 10 cities)
As an Area Visual Merchandiser, you will be the creative and commercial force driving our visual standards across multiple stores. Leading a team of 15-20 Store Visual Merchandisers, you'll travel frequently to ensure our brand's look is consistently exceptional while using sales and customer insights to maximize the impact of every display. Your role will be critical in coordinating store efforts, executing company standards, preparing for special events, translating commercial priorities into effective visual solutions, and growing the skills of both new and experienced team members.
Main responsibilities: • Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 visual merchandisers, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to excel.
• Travel & Oversee: Regularly visit stores within your area to monitor visual standards, provide on-site training, and offer hands-on support.
• Commercial Impact: Apply strong commercial awareness to visual merchandising decisions, with a clear understanding of how VM influences sales performance and the overall customer experience.
• Insight-Driven Decisions: Use sales, stock, and customer insights to inform and support visual merchandising choices across your area.
• Translating Priorities into Action: Convert commercial priorities, customer insights, and product performance data into effective, on-the-ground visual merchandising solutions.
• Sales-Focused Presentation: Apply strong knowledge of product placement, store layout, and visual presentation principles, with a clear focus on maximizing sales opportunities in every store.
• Standard Execution: Implement and uphold our company’s visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring every store reflects our brand identity.
• Event Preparation: Collaborate with store teams to design and execute visually engaging displays for special events and seasonal promotions.
• Team Development: Organize training sessions, coach new hires, and continuously develop the capabilities of existing staff to drive performance and creativity.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with HQ and store operations to align visual merchandising with overall brand strategy and customer experience goals.
Required qualifications and capabilities: • Experience: A solid background in visual merchandising within the fashion or retail industry, with proven leadership experience.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical and commercial skills, with proven ability to read sales, stock, and customer insights and translate them into effective visual merchandising decisions that support sales performance.
• Travel-Ready: Willingness and ability to travel frequently across your assigned region.
• Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
• Organizational excellence: Exceptional planning and coordination skills, with an eye for detail and a creative mindset.
• Passion for Fashion: A keen sense of style and an understanding of current fashion trends to keep our brand ahead of the curve.
• Educational Background: University degree is required, with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field being an advantage.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
