Ante Jandrijevic is looking for a new team member.

Your daily routine would include:

Install, configure, and administer Commvault backup solutions across diverse environments (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Oracle).
Monitor daily backup operations, troubleshoot failures, and perform proactive problem resolution to prevent data loss.
Optimize backup schedules, retention policies, and resource utilization, ensuring minimal impact on production systems.
Test and validate restores to guarantee backup integrity and support disaster recovery drills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (system admins, DBAs, application owners, IT security) to define and support new backup requirements.
Generate and maintain compliance, audit, and operational reports.
Maintain documentation of backup configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
Keep abreast of Commvault updates, security patches, and industry best practices.
Support regulatory and security compliance efforts, including encryption and access control for backups.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

3+ years experience in backup administration (preferably in large-scale telecom or enterprise environments) with direct knowledge of Commvault.
Strong hands-on expertise with Commvault installation, backup job creation, policy management, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Disaster recovery planning and execution experience.
Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX) and enterprise applications.
Understanding of storage systems, deduplication, compression, and replication concepts.
Familiarity with scripting (Bash, PowerShell) for automation purposes.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Nice to Have:

Cross-platform backup tool experience (Veeam, Data Protector).
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for telecom data protection.
