Business Intelligence Analyst

Sensata is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the global Financial Systems & Analytics team. This role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis while transforming data into actionable business insights.

The successful candidate will support data-driven decision-making by enhancing reporting capabilities, identifying trends, and driving automation and process improvements across analytics and financial systems.

General Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Responsibilities:

• Generate and analyze Time & Labor reporting as well as Compliance reporting
• Own Engineering Project Financial Reporting
• Support FX and Metals reporting
• Support Revenue Fill reporting

Additional Experience / Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency & strong working knowledge of Excel
• Highly adaptable with a proven capacity to learn new tools and technologies efficiently
• Demonstrates ability to think critically and resolve complex challenges in a timely manner
• Experience with BI/analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, QlikView or similar.
• Experience with Power BI or OAC DV preferred - but not mandatory.
• Ability to learn new tools quickly is more important than expertise in a specific tool.
• Familiarity with Oracle products (EBS, EPM, OAC, etc.) preferred

Gross Annual Salary Range:

20,779.00 EUR - 28,571.40 EUR

The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.

Starting Salary

The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
