Job Summary
The Cash Application Specialist will support collecting receivables to maintain working capital levels and ensure invoices are paid according to the set terms. In this role, you will be a key contributor in the management and control of the accounts receivables ledger for respective business units and general working capital control. Responsible for accurately reviewing and recording receipt in the respective system.

Key Responsibilities
Investigate complex transactions and Perform posting reversals as needed and correct misapplied payments.
Proactively advise the group of any key risk issues regarding customers by actioning, responding to email queries and follow-up with internal stakeholders for missing information necessary to post the remittance.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
Process various reports, supporting accounts receivable aging and distribution to relevant teams within the organization.
Provide feedback on a timely basis to facilitate credit to cash activities.
Proactively support the collections team to ensure accounts remain in good standing.
Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Key Requirements
High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
Experience with email, spreadsheet and word processing applications
Experience in Account receivables environment
Excellent English language skills both verbal and written


Preferred Qualifications
High attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
SAP experience is an advantage
