Continuous Audit and Monitoring Analyst

София длъжност на пълно работно време

Описание на позицията

Louis Dreyfus Company is a leading merchant and processor of agricultural goods. Our activities span the entire value chain from farm to fork, across a broad range of business lines, we leverage our global reach and extensive asset network to serve our customers and consumers around the world. Structured as a matrix organization of six geographical regions and ten platforms, Louis Dreyfus Company is active in over 100 countries and employs approximately 18,000 people globally.
The Opportunity: Advancing a Technology‑Enabled Audit Function

Since 2020, Louis Dreyfus Company’s Internal Audit Department has been on an ambitious transformation journey - modernizing our audit methodology and the way we conduct audits. While proven, traditional techniques remain essential, we’re building a dynamic Continuous Audit & Continuous Monitoring (CACM) program that uses technology to elevate the impact and reach of Internal Audit.

To drive this evolution, we are looking for a forward‑thinking, detail-oriented Continuous Audit & Monitoring Analyst to join our Sofia‑based Central Team. This is not a classic audit role. It is an opportunity to work with a range of technologies, including automated monitoring tests powered by rules‑based Python scripts and machine learning algorithms, to perform continuous audits and deliver insightful, data‑driven reviews.

In this role, you will contribute directly to a program designed to bring meaningful value to the organization. Through timely identification of process gaps, control weaknesses, and policy compliance issues, you will help enhance risk management and governance across the company. By leveraging technology, automation, and AI integrations, you will be at the forefront of modernizing Internal Audit and shaping a more proactive audit function.

The Role: Impact & Responsibilities

As a member of the CACM Central Team, you will play a key role in the governance of our global program, collaborating with Internal Audit teams across regions, engaging stakeholders across functions, and leveraging a wide suite of automated monitoring tests spanning commodity trading, operations, finance, and more.

Global and Dynamic Continuous Auditing

You will review high‑risk exceptions and anomalies flagged by automated monitoring tests across multiple regions and functions. You will validate information in source systems, assess supporting documentation, and engage with relevant stakeholders globally. You will perform targeted audit procedures to identify control gaps, process weaknesses, or policy non‑compliance, and propose practical, value‑adding recommendations that strengthen controls and enhance risk management.

Global Program Governance & Coordination

You will be involved in coordinating multiple CACM streams across business units and functions worldwide. This includes regular touchpoints with regional Internal Audit teams to align on approach, scope, priorities, and progress. You’ll help maintain consistency across regions, support the synchronization of activities and timelines, and contribute to integrated program execution - ensuring CACM remains cohesive, well governed, and embedded across the organization.

Creativity, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

You will support the continuous improvement of the global CACM program by applying a creative and innovative mindset to how automated tests are designed and used. This includes enhancing existing tests and proposing new ones that broaden coverage. Along the way, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to rules‑based Python scripts, machine‑learning–driven models, and AI integration initiatives.
Your Profile: A Tech‑Forward Audit Mindset

We are seeking a professional who’s eager to innovate and be part of a modern, technology‑enabled approach to audit - comfortable leveraging new technologies to enhance how audits are performed, operating with a strong risk‑based mindset, and adapting quickly to diverse processes and systems across the company.

Experience & Qualifications:

Professional Background: Minimum 3 years of experience in Audit or Data Analysis, preferably involving process understanding, risk assessment, and issue identification.
Risk‑Based & Tech-Forward Mindset: You bring a strong risk mindset - thinking critically about where risks may arise, what could go wrong, and which areas warrant deeper attention. You also have a tech‑forward mindset, eager to learn and apply to automation, analytics, and AI‑enabled tools to modernize how audits are performed.
Technical Toolkit: Strong skills in Excel for data analysis (lookups, pivots, formulas). Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is an advantage. Exposure to AI‑enabled tools are beneficial but not required - curiosity and willingness to learn are key.

Soft Skills for Success:

Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage stakeholders globally and present key reports clearly.
Adaptable & Organized: Able to prioritize effectively, adjust to shifting demands, and manage multiple tasks in a lean team environment.
Analytical & Detail‑Focused: Comfortable working with data, validating information, identifying anomalies, and distinguishing real issues from noise.
Collaborative & Independent: Able to collaborate with colleagues across geographies and functions, while also progressing work independently with appropriate supervision.
Solution‑Oriented: Goes beyond identifying issues by thinking through practical and actionable solutions.
