MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In charge for the monthly process of Impairments calculation in compliance with KBC Group requirements
Interpretation of the monthly results of Impairments on Financial assets (ECL -Expected Credit Losses) based on the IFRS9 framework and methodology.
Credit risk analysis based on the risk parameters of the ECL models (and the associated IFRS9 PD, LGD, and EAD models).
Participate in working groups for challenging and explanation of unusual trends on credit risk indicators on KBC Group level.
Active involvement in the monthly process of IFRS9 application and Expected Credit losses calculation.
Be part of the bank/ KBC Group initiatives related to the Impairments analysis, changes in the regulatory framework related to credit risk and back testing exercises.
Application management for IFRS9 (Expected credit losses) calculation.
Play challenging role with regards to the evolution and the loan book and evolution of the risk parameters (deterioration of credit status of clients, staging as per IFRS 9, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, informatics or in other applied science field (e.g. Statistics);
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken);
Excellent computer competences – MS Office (Excel, Power Point);
Experience with database software (i.e. SQL, SAS);
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
The position is suitable for candidates with experience working in the banking/credit risk sector or candidates with little/no experience but with an interest in a development of a career related to this field.
