Our Young Professionals Program intents to provide learning and
career opportunities for young professionals interested in the
dynamic data analytics sector. The program will be with duration up
to 12 months and after its completion it will provide the
opportunity to have a permanent position within great professionals
in the field.
The Compliance & Internal Audit Department (CIAD) is looking
for a data analyst based in Sofia, with analytical expertise, and
ability to understand business processes & risks.
The CIAD has been embedding data analytics across the compliance
& audit lifecycle for years, in close coordination with
Compliance Monitoring Department (CMD), which has been pursuing a
dynamic implementation of Continuous Control Monitoring. Our
department aims at leveraging technology to optimize the
performance and the effectiveness of internal auditors, compliance
officers and other business functions. We are looking for a junior
data analyst based in Sofia, with interests in data analytics and
data science.
Main Responsibilities:
Examine populations of data using various techniques and raise
potential issues (such as identifying attributes that previously
were out of reach, or discerning relationships and correlations
that were never before visible)
Develop, schedule and document scripts.
Test the results with end users
Continuously monitor key risks
Maintain existing controls
Provide guidance and assistance to our internal clients
Contribute to department improvement initiatives
Build reports & KPIs on activities & results for different
committees
Communicate & present achievements to stakeholders
Experience:
No experience is required
Academics:
Recent graduate/3rd or 4th year students, available for full time
commitment
Knowledge:
Knowledge in any statistical computer language (such as Python, R,
etc.) will be a plus
Knowledge in math models and machine learning is considered a plus
Other skills:
Self-motivated with the drive to make a difference
Accuracy and detail oriented
Ability to identify patterns in order to suggest ways of
improvements and automations
Commercially minded and interested in business intelligence
Investigative skills and self-drive to take a task to its
conclusion
Appetite for Business Intelligence systems and innovations
Interested in developing skills in MS Excel
Interest in finance and controlling

Languages:
Fluent in English essential, additional languages are considered as
an advantage.
