About the role:
As our new Database Expert, you will be at the heart of our data infrastructure. You will work in a small, dynamic team and have the freedom to propose and implement innovative solutions.
What you will do every day:
- You will configure and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure fast access to accurate information.
- You will analyze long-term execution plans and provide recommendations for improving database performance.
- You will prepare and set up new database clusters and perform daily monitoring.
- You will administer Oracle DB environments, including Oracle Backup/Restore processes and Oracle SQL scripting.
- You will support the team with timely data and practical advice.
- You will organize and conduct internal training, sharing your knowledge.
You are the ideal candidate if:
- You possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in database development or administration.
- You have a higher education degree in the field of computer science, finance, or another related specialty.
- You have in-depth knowledge of SQL and understand how the MySQL optimizer works.
- You have hands-on experience with Oracle DB and Oracle SQL.
- You are proficient in business English at a C1 level or higher.
- You possess analytical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
- You work excellently with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
You will receive bonus points if you have experience with
- Working with Linux Red Hat.
