Sensata Technologies is looking for a Demand Planning Professional. This role is part of the Global Operations team within Sensata. We are looking for an individual who has a proven analytical problem solving and results-driven background to drive reporting and analytic improvements within the Global SIOP organization. The candidate should be able to learn new tools and processes, think critically and creatively, and be prepared to challenge various team members. The Demand Planning Professional needs to be ready to collaborate with multiple members of the Demand Planning Global Organization, as well as SIOP Global Teams, and support different projects and initiatives.

General Responsibilities
• Key participant in the creation of future capacity plans
• Collaborates on any communication with marketing, manufacturing and customer service to ensure accuracy and efficiency of message
• Organizes the defining of an integrated supply chain to produce sustained, timely performance on all accounts
• Key participant in the measuring and monitoring of specific product / program categories
• Key participant in in-depth analysis with large amounts of data to run various statistics and analyses on the company to help future predictability of demand planning

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

The position will be responsible to collect information and requests, identify areas for improvements, develop and track results on improvement plans to achieve a high level of confidence in the SIOP reporting process.  Lead documentation of the process or report and will communicate with the full team.

This role works with the team of SIOP GPOs (Global Process Owners). Collaboration with the following functions would be needed:
SIOP GPOs (Supply, Demand, Customer service, Materials Planning and KPI), Business Unit functions (Demand Planning, Commercial Finance, IT), and factory team members, to implement improvement plans, develop relevant and accurate reporting, and report back on results.

Key Accountabilities:
·        Support the establishment of standard demand planning procedures and templates for demand reviews as part of overall SIOP transformation.

·        Work with ERP transition teams to ensure data and process readiness while providing directions for demand planning improvements.

·        Support the establishment of a playbook and assessment for Demand planning solution Demantra and home-grown systems

·        Report monthly data on KPIs and monitor opportunities for improvement list shared with the SIOP GPO team.

·        Create and maintain reporting and tools to support the Global demand planning and Global SIOP organization.

·        Collaborate closely with the Global demand planning and SIOP teams to ensure execution of defined actions plans for SIOP metrics improvement. Participate in demand planning process improvements, work with cross functions to optimize and standardize workflow to contribute for KPIs achievement

·        Collaborate closely with the Global demand planning, SIOP teams and IT to ensure enhancement requests execution and incidents timely resolution.

·        Participate in the monthly demand planning council meetings and prepare and present content upon request.

·        Work as a SME and lead trainings for the broader demand planning team.

• Ensure system parameters are set to support forecast accuracy targets.
