This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Job scope/summary:

The DevOps Engineer delivers the Data Center Infrastructure consulting and Java scripting services related to data and web center transformation, consolidation, virtualization, automation & cloud solutions. The solutions address the business requirements and ensure that the requirements for the management, IT processes and key technologies, such as a web based server infrastructure.

Job specifics/responsibilities:
The responsibility as a technical consultant

• Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams
• Maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure partner satisfaction
• Cluster deployment & node lifecycle incl. Golden Image design
• Bare-metal automation
• Patch, compliance and capacity management incl. health checks and reporting
• Regularly supports the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer
• Realization and implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains: infrastructure or virtualized platforms
• Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation
• Communicates with internal and external customers confidently and demonstrates the professionalism of the job family.

Key deliverables:

• Build and operate the bare-metal, OS and cluster provisioning layer of the ACE environment
• Support to the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer
• Realization and implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains: infrastructure or virtualized platforms

• AUDI Customer Germany

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent
• Real life experience in Cloud project delivery, including the design phase

Other requirements:

• Fluent English language
• German Language as advantage
• Willingness to travel abroad.
